Downing Street Memo

at around evening time on Saturday, the 18th of June 2005 by Chad

May be a fraud, of course. I kinda expect this by now.
From Captain’s Quarters…

The media and the Leftists have had a field day with the Downing Street memos that they claim imply that the Bush administration lied about the intelligence on WMD in order to justify the attack on Iraq. Despite the fact that none of the memos actually say that, none of them quote any officials or any documents, and that the text of the memos show that the British government worried about the deployment of WMD by Saddam against Coalition troops, Kuwait and/or Israel, the meme continues to survive.

Until tonight, however, no one questioned the authenticity of the documents provided by the Times of London. That has now changed, as Times reporter Michael Smith admitted that the memos he used are not originals, but retyped copies…

Damn Commies, always trying to make a buck

around lunchtime on Thursday, the 16th of June 2005 by Chad

Today’s dose of irony, from the UK Guardian

One of the most notorious murder weapons in modern history, the ice-pick that killed Leon Trotsky, appears to have been found, 65 years after it was apparently stolen from the Mexican police.
The daughter of a former secret service agent claims she has the steel mountaineering instrument, which is stained with the blood of the Russian revolutionary.

Trotsky’s grandson Seva Volkov, who lived with his grandfather at the time and still lives in Mexico, is willing to provide samples for a DNA test against the blood on the handle only if Salas donates the pick to the museum in the house where the murder took place.

But she said: “I am looking for some financial benefit. I think something as historically important at this should be worth something, no?”

“Sacrificing minions: Is there any problem it can’t solve?” - Lord Xykon, OOTS

Yeah, that is pretty common, ain’t it? Especially in middle management.

Solutions

around lunchtime on Wednesday, the 8th of June 2005 by Chad

Via MSNBC:

Prostitution is legal in Germany in designated areas.

“In Dortmund we have an official red light district on the outskirts, but there is a problem. There is not enough space for everyone to park.”

Dortmund plans to arrange the Dutch-designed huts, which have been introduced in the city of Cologne, another World Cup venue, in an area with condom machines and snack bar.

“Men have to get used to them of course, but a high percentage accept them because they can protect their anonymity,” the official said.

“That said there will always be those who want to go behind a bush, under a bridge or into the woods.”

And to think. Somewhere, tax money is paying for a committee to sit down and come up with solutions so that Johns get good parking, and can stay safely anonymous while getting in a good boink.

Just google along, nothing to see here

just before lunchtime on Wednesday, the 8th of June 2005 by Chad

Some recent Google searches that you might find amusing…

animated dancing women
star worst
Pirate women pics
sex game
cowboy dress on rent
why is crime high in sweden
viking laws
women larp
types of normal human behavior
man on women
women of deep throat
pirates and their bad bad things

OK, but the scariest one of them all is “Donating to Necrophilia” because… well, if you can’t figure it out, you got bigger issues than the person searching.

Oh Canada! Hehheh

in the late evening on Tuesday, the 7th of June 2005 by Chad

So the wife is having an email discussion with a friend of hers from Canada. It started out when the friend realized my wife loves to shoot guns. The horrors!

Now, the friend is the daughter of a murdered Canadian diplomat, so I can almost see the logic… but then I remember: the gun did not run out in the street and shoot her father all by itself. Murdering thugs did. And they could have done it with any weapon available. Of course she also hates Bush and thinks Michael Moore is a hero. Ummm… thats just crazy talk.

Canadians are peaceful eh?So not one day later, this nutjob shows up.

His deadly cargo: A homemade sword, a hatchet, a knife, brass knuckles, and a chain saw stained with what appeared to be blood.

Of course, he couldn’t be a killer. He didn’t have a gun. Only murderers have guns.

The guy looks like a neo-nazi mated with Squiggy.

“We are so lucky”

in the late evening on Wednesday, the 1st of June 2005 by Chad

That’s what the guy next to me said at lunch today.

You see, at what other job, in what other town, can you possibly have this situation.  Walk right outside of your office and grab a burger off the grill.  Some macaroni or potato salad.  A piece of watermelon or an ice cream.

And then go sit down in the grass to eat, while watching the Air Force Thunderbirds perform literally right over your head.

A few hundred feet over your head.  As they do their demonstration show in honor of the Air Force Academy graduates celebrating their hard work right across the street.  On an absolutely beautiful day.

Yeah, I’m the lucky one…

You know those Kay Jewellers commercials? The tagline is: "Every Kiss Begins with Kay." So, once again: If every kiss begins with a diamond or other bauble from Kay, then you're either dating, or married to, a whore.
