BTW I am one of the Pirate-king’s gun-converts.
That said, I am also a former resident of the Left Coast. I even voted against Grey Davis.
Things have gotten pretty weird in that state since I left and they just got weirder.
Now all I can say is:

Terminator for Governor!!!
Only in America…

Wish I could vote for him. Instead I’ll have to vote against Minner <sigh>.
Maybe we could get a famous Delawarian thespian to run.
I know, I can’t think of any either…</sigh>

I’ve been thinking about it lately. I have a feeling I’ll be voting for Governor Bill Owens come the 2004 elections. More than likely I’ll be in Colorado Springs by that time. I’ve just about had it with Delaware…
Of course, right now I’m writing out my property and school tax checks, so I may be feeling worse about this than normal, but hey, what the hell. We’re already looking at apartments and planning on how we will be selling this house. Already told the parents too. So its going to get interesting…

I know the feeling.
The wife and I have been talking about moving out of the area in a couple of years after Med school. We like the southwest - AZ or NM. NRA country. Get me some dawgs, pickup and gun rack. Geez, I used to make fun of that lifestyle but now it sounds really appealing.
