Exchange 2003 Service Pack 2
mid-afternoon on Saturday, the 22nd of October 2005 by Chad
OK, those of you using Exchange 2003 and wanting to install Service Pack 2. Want to run IMF (the Intelligent Mail Filter)?
It’s a royal pain to find out where to enable it. It used to have its own tab. Not any more, its buried pretty damn deep. So here’s how you do it-
In the System Manager…
Navigate to the SMTP virtual server.
Right-click the SMTP virtual server, and then click Properties.
On the General tab, click Advanced.
Select the IP address or (All Unassigned) and click the Edit button.
From there, you can enable all the filter checks. I’d enable all of ‘em…
Let’s just say, I was ready to move all the mailboxes to another server I built, installed Exchange on, etc., before I finally found that link. Now I get to remove it all…
