No Hatred in Open Source!

at around evening time on Tuesday, the 19th of April 2005 by Chad

From the "Open Source" encyclopedia, the Wikipedia entry on the new Pope, Benedict XVI.Ratzinger.GIF

So, the damn pot smoking hippies are saying that the new Pope is the Emperor.  All because he has more conservative leanings than telling every idiot out there that no matter what they do to stroke themselves off, it is AOK with him.  Because we all know that what is fashionable for today is more important than saving your souls.

Whatever, these cafeteria religious types piss me off so bad.  Because they think that thousands of years of religious tradition needs to change because it doesn’t bend to what every little smeghead thinks it should be like.

please tell me you photo shopped that photo into the page.

Though, I wouldn’t be surprised my any of the lefties. I so enjoyed the loons at Kos calling Pope Benedict a Nazi. I will hand it to Kos, he said that that kind of language was way out of bounds.

This sort of thing is nothing new. Both liberals and conservatives redefine words, governments and religion. Conservatives try to push the Pope to justify war. Republicans try to redefine the constitution because they do not like decisions of certain judges‚¬â„¢. Everyone seems to want to make the word tolerance mean acceptance.

I personally think it is ridiculous to try to change or remove the fundamental principles of any charter. If you do not agree with the core beliefs of any group, you should not be in that group. If a majority does not believe in the charter, revoke the charter.

The Roman Catholic Church itself has already changed the definition of Christianity in many people‚¬â„¢s eyes. Here is a sure fire test; if they collect money, they are not Christians.

I have never known of an established church that did’nt beg or extort money. The beggars just don’t have the “rough men standing ready to do violence on their behalf” so they can’t extort. The RC church has had about fifteen centuries plus to refine their methods of income, they make all of the Televanglists look like pikers.

Of course you get mostly what you pay for, Notre Dame versus Crystal Cathedral-Sistine Chapel versus…you know I can’t think of a low church version of the Sistine.

Only known two preachers worth a tinker’s damn, a father and son team, both had to work second jobs to support being a Preacher.

The rest of them are just smooth operatiors.
