Episode 3 of DOCTOR WHO hits a new high!
in the early evening on Sunday, the 10th of April 2005 by Anarchy
Things are definitely looking up for the Doctor. Episode #3 ("The Unquiet Dead") was apparently a big hit. Apparently, the Welsh zombies were quite popular… and the show’s email was swamped with messages from parents who were reporting how cute it was when they discovered that thier children were hiding behind the couch. (Makes one was nostalgic.)
For ratings, the Doctor drew in an audience of 8.3 Million. That’s 2 million more than those that tuned in to see the Royal Wedding. I’m hoping that this is mearly a taste of things to come. I’d love to see this new series get a nice long run… like say… another 26 years.

So what you are trying to say is that I have to start watching it? Welsh Zombies… sounds like a good name for a band!

I’m saying that everyone should at least give it a try. It may not be your cup of tea… but that’s OK. I think it’s brilliant… and lots of fun. Others… not so much.
However, to keep people from getting confused… let me say this. If you haven’t been a long running fan of the Doctor, then there may be a couple of points that you’re a little gray on… however, there’s only a few points to keep in mind… most of which you probably already know.
(1) The Doctor will periodically die and regenerate like a phoenix from the ashes (so when he’s looking in a mirror and complaining about his new ears, that’s why…)
(2) The blue telephone box is his spaceship, and it can go anywhere at any time… he is a Time Lord after all. It’s supposed to blend into it’s background upon landing, but the “cameleon circuit” is broken… so it just always looks like a blue telephone box.
(3) If it seems weird, well… it was meant to be that way… just go with it.
Keep all that in mind… and the rest is fluff.
