When Legislation Makes You Physically Ill…
terribly early in the morning on Sunday, the 8th of November 2009 by Katie
Idiots.
Where have all the sane and rational politicians (yes, how often is that said in one sentence, these days) gone?
I feel as though my country has been hijacked. As if everything that I was taught was right, is wrong. Personal responsibility is down the toilet. Individual rights went down with it.
And for every one who screamed about privacy when Bush listened to phone calls made by terrorists, the government will soon have all of your medical history – how’s that for privacy?
Not that I ever propose or commit violence, but I am left with a desperation to rid our country of the idiots in our government. Two years is too long for the House. Four years is a lifetime with this presidency…. What, again, is an impeachable offence?
Where are normal, hardworking, fiscally conservative, small government people supposed to live?
House narrowly passes landmark health care bill
You will be sent to jail, if you do not have health care. Where in our glorious Constitution did our founding fathers ever write that? They can’t send actual criminals to jail, but they will send people without insurance?
Our government has been taken over by extremists. What can we do? Seriously. What can we do?
A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned – this is the sum of good government.
All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.
Delay is preferable to error.
Dependence begets subservience and venality, suffocates the germ of virtue, and prepares fit tools for the designs of ambition.
The above statements were made by Thomas Jefferson, who is currently busy rolling in his grave….
UPDATE: And how did the recently elected Rep Owens from NY vote? You know, the Democrat who promised not to vote for a government option?
Turns out, HE LIED.
And, in a record breaking attempt, he successfully broke four campaign promises in his very first hour in Congress. And they wonder why we are so bitter….

Excellent Katie.. and it is the bottom line.. how could people be outraged by Bush who did his job in protecting our country.. vs a man who wants to destroy everything our country was built on.. if not the entire country as a whole.
lies.. they make a politician and especially a politician in this current trend.. what truth has been told by Obama.. Biden.. Pelosi.. Reid.. need we continue lies make politicians.
Integrity is dead.. the lie is now king.. everyhting is a joke, and it scares the crap out of me.
