Can This Country Ever Be Successful Again?

I pose that question, because there is a new poll out today, that states that 43% of voters would vote for Obama in 2012.
I know that people are looking at that from “only 43% would vote for Obama”.
Me? I look at it and think “wow, there are still that many idiots who would still vote for him?”
43%? Staggering. Stimulus fiasco, reckless governmental spending, rampant unemployment, Obamacare, devaluation of the dollar, the World Apology Tour, socialist (and worse) advisors, corrupt officials, closed door meetings despite transparency promises, weakening of our defenses, dropped defensive shield in Eastern Europe, the neverending “the world will cease to exist if we don’t pass _________ immediately”, (and that is only a brief short list).
What would it take for these idiots not to vote for him?

You must understand that a majority of blacks are voting for him based solely on skin color. I need to mention Colin Powell here.

Check out the raw data. Only 27% would definitely vote for him (14% probably) while 38% definitely would NOT vote for him. I think when you are talking about those that voted for Obama once, it will be difficult for them to move off that vote unless they are very unhappy with him, or you give them an option they like better. I think what we are seeing is that many that voted for him have become dissatisfied enough to change, while a lot of them need to see their options before changing. The fact remains the number has dropped almost 10% in just 6 months.

Aw Katie has hope for humanity.. she has hope that there are not that many morons out there.
I had that hope too.. then this moron won the election for president.. my hope was crushed & destroyed.,…
I always knew a large quantity of people were idiots.. but I had no idea until then how many.. and what you found showing 43% would still vote for him, shows there still is nearly 1/2 the population that are morons!
Wow Bob.. you gave a different ring to it.. so there are not as many idiots as was previously thought? I am shocked now !
Of course what I see in the drop of his approval really are those who expected him to hand them things, you know that free mortgage, free car, etc.. they are now disappointed that he did not do those things. and then his recent visit to Orleans where people still have a mess from Katrina, and they were outraged he has not fullfilled his promises.. and his visit was so short.
Side note.. how many other cat-5 Hurricanes have hit the US.. that this may years later were still basically disaster areas, and still begging for hand outs..?? really is quite sad and pathetic. Of course there outrage to Obama is obviously not as widely heard as their outrage to Bush when he was in office.. and heck I think they still curse him down there.. but not Obama.. what a bunch of morons!
So I figure still nearly 1/2 the people are morons, but Bob shows a much bigger drop in satisfaction.. so sounds like a majority of those individuals are disappointed with the lack of hand outs and the broken promises.. so they are not complete morons.

I am still struggling with the fact that there were millions of Americans willingly deceived and stupid enough to vote for him in the first place. They will go there until the bitter end because they vote for the almighty Party, and also do not admit that they fouled up big time.

I realize that many people voted for Obama based on skin color, which, if you were white and voted for a white candidate, you would be a racist, but if you are any color and voted for Obama based on race, you are somehow enlightened….
And, I realize that his numbers are slipping. Thank goodness.
But, it disgusts me when I hear that there are still a large number of people who would vote for him again. We have departed from “normality” so far, that he looks acceptable.
Way too many people in our society walk around with the attitude that they are owed. The government owes them for what – breathing? Businesses owe them because they bothered to fill an application?
We punish the hard workers, and demonize success. We hand out free cash for baby machines, lazy couch sitters, and whiners. How the heck can we survive this mentality?
The only thing that I am “owed” is a chance to succeed on my own merits – and the government should get out of my frikkin’ way. They should let those of us that actually have a work ethic keep our own money, instead of stealing our money, in order to buy votes from the lazy people who believe that they are owed…
