More hard-hitting MSM coverage

I did not post before about the “shorts” controversy.. and I would not post about the “hair” issues except I thought this funny item on Michelle Malkin’s site..
So my question is, if Michelle Obama is supposed to be a role model for black people, why doesn’t she just go natural? Gee could not be because of her own personal preference on how she does her hair? Yet MSM chooses to make it an oppression issue.
And also, her hair is all your fault:
The choice many black women make to alter their hair’s natural texture has undeniable historical and psychological underpinnings. It has been attributed to everything from a history of oppression and assimilation to media-influenced notions of beauty…
Alot of that oppression and attitude is with in the black community more than anything forced by white people. They attack one another for their skin tone and hair… for white people we honestly do not care. I had black friends as a kid, and I thought the curly (natural) hair was neat, of course my father’s hair (when he did not shave it short) easily became a “fro”, so perhaps I was already ok with it.
Yes, this is where I would defend Michelle Obama, the fashion attacks are really ridiculous.. can’t the MSM find something more pressing, I dunno like all the idiotic things (President) Obama is doing to our country.
So who exactly is it that is making race a major issue? Is it conservatives or liberals? Hummm..

Amazing, the woman promoted a shuttle service for poor patients, to get them out of her hospital’s ER and to other hospitals’ ERs, and had a $300K a year job (after becoming an “important wife”) that was sooo important that they’ve never bothered to fill the position after she left -
BUT NO – the MSM picks the “really hard hitting” story about shorts and hair….
Ever get the feeling that they are “token complaining” about the small stuff, so that they can say that they actually criticized the Obamas about something?
