Meet the Science Czar
terribly early in the morning on Wednesday, the 15th of July 2009 by Katie
Let me say first, I have a qualm with the idea of a Science Czar. The title brings strange and scary ideas to my head. Ideas that have a “mandatory” science idea, that will be determined by the government, all other ideas will be terminated. Take “Global Warming”. The Science Czar would determine that “global warming” is man-made, all other theories (and their proponents) will be shot on sight.
But, back to my original story. Meet your Science Czar, John Holdren. In the 70′s, he was the co-author of a lovely book called “Ecoscience”.
Michelle Malkin has been writing about Holdren and Ecoscience all week. For more links, please click here, here, and here.
Some of Holdren’s “planet saving” ideas are as follows:
• Women could be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not;
• The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation’s drinking water or in food;
• Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will and given away to other couples to raise;
• People who “contribute to social deterioration” (i.e. undesirables) “can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility” — in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized.
• A transnational “Planetary Regime” should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans’ lives — using an armed international police force.
It seems that Holdren is in the wrong country. Maybe he should be the science czar in China.

Hmmm, mandatory hysterectomies. Birth control devices implanted in our pre-pubescent children – which can only be removed by “official permission”. Infertility drugs in the water supply.
Interesting how abortion is a “right to privacy” issue and as Sotomayor said yesterday, is settled law, yet there seems to be no corresponding “right to procreate”. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t believe that we should procreate with abandon. I believe that a family should only have children that they can afford (and yes, I realize that there are always “surprises”). However, I don’t believe that it is the government’s place to tell me how many children I should have.
I am sure that it will come as a great comfort, when you hear that:
As Zombie notes, the White House has responded to rising blogosphere unease with Holdren’s cultish ideas by pooh-poohing Holdren’s co-authorship of the nutball manifesto, Ecoscience. Team Obama told the Washington Times that Holdren “never has been an advocate for policies of forced sterilization.”
And an even greater comfort for us is that the MSM is finally criticizing one of Obama’s scientists:
The New York Times recently warned its readers about a wacky scientist in the Obama administration. But the fish wrap of record let the real nut job off the hook.
Reporting last week on the president’s choice to head the National Institutes of Health, Times writer Gardiner Harris noted that praise for Dr. Francis S. Collins “was not universal or entirely enthusiastic.” The geneticist is causing “unease,” according to the Times, because of his “his very public embrace of religion.” Stomachs are apparently churning over a book Collins wrote describing his conversion to Christianity.
Yes, the selection of a Christian geneticist is met with “unease”, while a Science Czar, who advocates mandatory sterilization, abortions, drugging water supplies, and also has a “hero” that was a member of a Eugenics movement flies completely under the radar….
UPDATE: Click here to view extensive (and scary) quotes from the book, “Ecoscience”. The above items are only the tip of the iceberg.
This guy could have been bunkmates with Hitler.

Not surprising coming from the party of Justice Ginsburg who made it clear she supports Roe v. Wade because…
“Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of, so that Roe was going to be then set up for Medicaid funding for abortion,” Ginsburg said.
The same people the support Planned Parenthood and it’s founder Margaret Sanger, the creator of the “Negro Plan”… a method of using birth control to exterminate the Negro population.
Why 90% of black people support the people that want to see them exterminated is beyond my understanding. I guess it is just ignorance, I don’t really know.

Dems – never seem to be held accountable for what they say. There is always a willing media who will instantly “fix” the statement. Such as Ginsberg’s. Why wasn’t the follow up question – “which population don’t you want to many of, Justice Ginsberg?”
The gov virtually enslaves people with the welfare program. Recipients can’t go out and earn “too much” money. They can’t marry their “baby’s daddys”. They basically become crack whores – addicted to the gov dole.
And then there is the whole “quota” system for hirings. Implied is that certain races (plus females) are not as good as others. That these people need an extra leg up, just to compete….
And then you have the “stooges”. The Jesse Jacksons, the Rev Wrights, the Charlie Rangels. The ones that constantly tell “their people” that the man did them wrong. That they are owed. That simply because their great-great-great-great-grandmother was enslaved 150 years ago, they will never be successful. That they cannot possibly “make it” in this world without a golf handicap…
But why people continue to vote for libs (or progressives), when they should feel outraged and insulted, I will never know.
What really scares me about the above mentioned book, however, is that this man should be taken out and publically flogged. Where in our society does someone with these evil thoughts belong (besides the Obama administration)? Shouldn’t he be wearing his white sheet and hood or something?
And I love the fact that the problem with poisoning the water is that pets and livestock might be harmed. Ohhh, feel the love with that one….

GREAT Post Katie.. thank you!
poisoning the water.. gee I wonder if that is part of obama’s stimulous plan.. to require people to buy bottled water for their pets, and family?
obamas goal is not only to kill of what America is.. and Americans.. but perhaps he will extend this to the world.. well except terrorists? seriously this man is insane, he is mental.. how many bad choices does he have to make???
# of children.. I agree Katie the government should not mandate the number of childern a family can have.. but also should not reward welfare mothers for reproducing like rabbits.. and sadly they do exactly that..
then we have the flip side of that with planned parenthood who had one intention of eliminating future black generations..
and it is bizarre, the same people who cry racists, who embrace a 1/2 black president.. who believes in late-term abortion, and abortion rights etc etc.. and has chosen so many pro-abortion individuals.. it is extremely bizarre black people would support this? it just does not make any sense what-so-ever.. but the sad situation is they won’t bite the hands that feeds them even if it is holding a gun to their head..
how illogical can all of this get? it just is simply insane, bizarre.. and sickening!
but if obama says this man never said the things he put into print.. hum.. gee i guess the sky is yellow.. rocks are soft.. etc etc.. new dictionaries and encylopedias will be issued by the government to correct all facts. ARGH! my head surely will explode from all this stupidity!
