One of the (many) reasons I am glad not to be a man.

When it comes to the guys who decide they are really a female, and dress like a female but physically are still men.. I think of this blatant act of deception, as these disturbed individuals go through life telling everyone they are a woman (as you watch their Adam’s Apple move up & down their throat). I think of the (straight) men these (mentally disturbed) men (in women’s clothes) try to seduce, I can only imagine the anger and disgust that can result from discovering the truth!

Now a case has resulted in a 1st degree murder charge with BIAS.. setting a precedent, which will affect any (straight) man who is deceived by a cross-dresser.

Murder is murder to me.. I can not stand the defense of “mental instability” or other crap.. no one who commits a murder is in their right mind.. either short-term or life-long.. a murder is the result of someone who is not sane. ALL murderers deserve the death penalty!

But the fact that they “had” to tag this case as a “hate-crime”.. (I watched the case on TV).. no matter how much the prosecution twisted the facts, they did not prove that this guy targeted this cross-dresser. The prosecution attacked the defense for using facts like ( the cross dresser) is a MALE.. and calling him by HIS LEGAL name.. rather than the “nick-name” HE used in HIS act of deception. The prosecution tried to say the defendant was at court (with the cross-dresser), so he knew this individual was not a woman.. yet the court had on the stand a court reporter who said she saw this person come into court with a man, but could not identify this man.. so unless I missed a portion, I never saw where they were able to prove the man in court with the cross-dresser was the defendant. The entire case was based on emotion as they had crying family members on the stand, they clouded any facts with twisted “(mis-)information”.

I am not saying the defendant is innocent.. nor is he.. and the outcome would not have differed terribly since even a 2nd degree murder would have had him in jail till his death.. (though he his defense attorney hoped for a lesser charge, it was not likely he was going to get off so easily.. he was going to be made an example of!) so it was all for a political statement… and sadly where this slippery slope begins..

I agree with you. Murder is murder. The end result is a death. I don’t go in for the insanity defense. You killed someone, and “insanity” does nothing to bring the dead person back. Basically, if you killed someone, insane or sane, I don’t want you back on the street to take someone else’s life.

But the bs about “hate crime”. I feel as though the “victim” committed a fraud. And I think the guy freaked. I don’t think that he attacked because he hated all cross-dressers, I think he hated this specific cross-dresser.

Katie ditto…. there can not be a crime with out hate.. even if like the insanity plea.. it can be temporary rage or something.. but obviously it is hate, it is something out of that person’s control.. that person can not be reformed from rage/anger or hate (sorry never bought into the anger management crapola)… a violent person is a violent person.. hate is hate.. murder is murder.. why do we NEED so many GREY areas?

the grey areas are a huge part of the problem.. people know of these loops holes and exceptions.. they figure they can quite literally get away with murder..

it obviously works both ways but it is still absurd.. so this guy ends up getting say 150 or 200 years in prison.. now i do not think that life span issue has been addressed, he still could die tomorrow or he could live to be a hundred.. so what benefit did that extra 100 or so years give them, aside from costing the tax-payers more in court.. and wasted time in general? i listened to the case, and commentary and it is basically a protection for appeals or a politician who might make an allowance for the murderer.. but still reduced that person would have what 60 years in prison.. this person is in his 30s.. so if he lives past that period.. what the heck is the point..

    the answer.. execution..

yes i hear the cost debate.. but that too needs to be addressed..

we could set up a new set of rules, which would clear out the grey areas.. and all these what-ifs.. we will call murder .. murder. and all murders, rapes & child molestation charges will all receive the death penalty.. but there is that nasty argument about a person being wrongly accused.. ok that happens, but how often.. how much more likely is a person to get freed from jail and commit repeat offenses before he/she is caught, if ever caught at all.. so one mistake vs a dozen or so more lost lives? humm.. ok i am playing the odds.. but i will make an allowance for this…

murder/rape/child molestation = death penalty, no grey area.. no 2nd chances etc.

BUT.. there will be a 1 year jail time to allow for an appeal.. or the oops instance. there will be NO extensions.. no exceptions.. no negotiation.. no 1st time exception.. none of that garbage..

new ball game.. strike 1 your are out..

jails are for reform.. if a person can be reformed they go to jail, a sick-twisted nutjob can not be reformed.. and if someone is going to find an exception instance.. again play the numbers.. if there is one person who could be reformed of such crimes.. that is 1 to a million that won’t.. do you want to play those odds?

so hate crime.. that is crap to me.. a person can not commit a crime with out anger/rage/hate.. you don’t see someone committing these offenses and smiling, and making loving comments about the incident.. you see a person who is derranged, disturbed, angry.. any or all the above.

this is just another pro-gay political move. and though i never had an issue with gays or cross-dressers before.. i am definitely getting more and more repulsed.. they may win some people over, but they are no doubt equally losing too..
