The defense state.. “this is not a ‘death penalty’ case”.. ok a mother murdering her daughter.. NOT a death penalty case.. what they heck do they consider a “death penalty” case??
They are going to “fight to keep the State from taking her life”.. ok which statement sickens me more.. the fact that they don’t find this to be a death penalty case, or they object to her life being taken.. she does not deserve her life… what are they considering this to be post term abortion.. since obviously the government supports abortion!?
A spokeswoman for the State Attorney’s Office in Orlando said Monday that prosecutors have filed papers seeking to have Anthony executed if she is convicted of first-degree murder.
Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez, said that Anthony’s defense was prepared to fight.
"This is not a death penalty case. We will do whatever is necessary to defend Casey Anthony from the State trying to take her life. We already have death-qualified defense lawyers on our team and are prepared for a vigorous defense," he said.
