Nasa Successfully Lands Carbon Observer Satellite in Antarctica

mid-morning on Tuesday, the 24th of February 2009 by Capt Jake Fortune

I’m sure that’s the headline on CNN, MSNBC, NYT, etc., now that Obama is in charge of Nasa.

If this was a few months ago, the headline would be Evil Bushitler Launches Intercontinental Missile at Helpless Penguins.

That’s the impartial media for you.

You speak of the liberal bias in the media, but in this instance, at least, I fear that your argument falls flat. A simple google news search for “NASA, Environment, Study” for the year 2006 (height of the Bush administration) shows no such blatant headlines.

No doubt there were negative headlines, but these all relate essentially to the Bush Administration’s refusal to deal at all with climate change. Thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster (google it) for Massachusetts v. EPA.

Thank you for reading my comment.
