Report: Woman Files Lawsuit Against Miley Cyrus for Offensive Gesture

It seems as though, still under the age of 18, Miley Cyrus and her pals made a “gesture” that was photo’d.  Now people are offended.

TMZ reports that the Los Angeles woman, Lucie J. Kim, has filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of all Asian Pacific Islanders living in Los Angeles County. And she’s seeking quite a payout: $4 billion.

Yes, that is BILLION, with a b….  Four Billion dollars for a gesture.  And, I figure you probably know the “gesture” because the suit is on behalf of all Asian Pacific Islanders.

Gee, if I sued for every Irish joke that I’ve heard, I’d be able to pay for the bailout bill.

My advise:  Get over it.  If her behaviour truly offends you that much, boycott her.  Stop watching her show.  Stop buying her music.  Whatever.

But suing for 4 BILLION dollars because your feelings were hurt by a 16 year old girl is completely ridiculous.

That is insane.. yes it is poor taste for Miley to do that, she has been one of the better youth-stars.. but for someone to sue and sue for billions.. ahh welcome to the current day, makes you wonder when did the human race start developing nerve endings out side of their skin!

i loved one of the comments on Malkin’s site about this one..

“You can sue no-talent idiot pop stars for “racial insensitivity”? Hmmm…how many millions do the rappers make?”

    oooh we can be RICH!

Sorry, we cannot sue the African-American gangsta-rappers. Don’t you realize that they by definition cannot be racially insensitive to caucasions? They are allowed to say anything they want because of past oppression.

Seriously, this whole thing makes me sick. I’m tired of minorities and their claims of civil rights infringement. Where are my civil rights as guaranteed by the constitution?

Bob.. wrecking my dreams.. I know I was in a fantasy (smiles)!

Looking at the picture on Malkin’s site, I wonder why the Amer. Indians (OOops, that’s right, I need to say “Native Americans”) aren’t suing too.

Still think people just need to “get a grip”. I don’t remember the part of the Bill of Rights that gives us “Freedom from being Offended”…

So just when did hurting people’s feelings and showing racial insensitivity become illegal?

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
