Less Than a Week in Office, and I already Hate Everything that He Has Done

terribly early in the morning on Saturday, the 24th of January 2009 by Katie

How many more days of this idiot as President?

Because he is coming across as a gloating schoolboy, who hasn’t a clue.

He’s closing Gitmo.  With absolutely no plans for the future of the detainees.  He is only allowing interrogators to use the Army Field Manual – which evidently doesn’t even allow “good cop, bad cop” when interrogating.  So, if we know that there is an imminent threat, what do we do – get on our knees and beg the evil terrorists to spill the beans?

Then he spread the joy of abortion throughout the world.  He is removing the “gag rule” and allowing fed funds to go to clinics that provide / counsel about abortions.  Hey, we exported McDonald’s why not abortions?  News link.  And better links provided by Michelle Malkin.

“To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.”  Thomas Jefferson

Then he removed a rule that allows former Presidents, Vice Presidents and their families to have a greater say in what gets released to the public.  Bush (43) actually implemented this one, to the disgust of the media.  But, he was a big enough man to let the Clintons go (as long as they went, he was happy).  The rule frustrated the media, who were interested in the Clinton dealings (although they seemed interested in it, only after they left).  And yes, the removal of the ruling, while it makes Obama look innocent, will lay the groundwork for his rabid cohorts to try to prosecute Bush, Cheney, and all of the other workers who have kept us SAFE after 9/11.

His Treasury Sec was passed, even though he failed to pay taxes, despite being repeated told that he owed them.  Even when finally forced to pay the back taxes, he only paid the lowest amount – the amount that was within the Statute of Limitations (despite conceding that he owed  much more – granted, normal people would have done the same – but people in a public office as high as Treasure Sec should show greater character).

And Hillary is in as Sec of State.  Hmmm, I wonder if they are still accepting foreign money and “speaking tours”.

Then we have the AG who pushed through pardons for known terrorists, and seems to have no backbone when it comes to current terrorists.  When are the libs going to understand that we will not win over our enemies with niceness?  They hate us.  They hate our success.  They hate our religion or lack thereof.  They hate our clothes.  And mostly, they hate our freedom.  We won’t win them over with tea and crumpets.  Michelle Malkin has an excellent article re Holder.  Starting with the interesting point:

[A]s nearly 100 of the remaining detainees are Yemenis, reflecting that country’s refusal to assure security for repatriated Yemenis, note that AG nominee Eric Holder is a senior partner with Covington & Burling, a prestigious Washington, D.C. law firm, which represents 17 Yemenis currently held at Gitmo.

His administration even refuses to acknowledge the War on Terror.  In a press conference this week, Obama’s Stooge Spokesman refused to even mouth the words.  Hiding our heads in the sand won’t stop another 9/11.  The 9/11 Commission “found” that our enemies had been waging war on us for 10 years prior to 9/11.  We just failed to see it.  Now, it looks as though we are jumping back into a pre 9/11 mentality.  This does nothing to keep us safe, and only encourages our enemies.

He has nominated a “Global Warming” guru who up until 2 weeks ago was listed as a Socialist.  She supports a “globalization” agenda.  Great, should I be converting my dollars to euros?

But for some reason, it is his gloating that is really getting me.

Our country works best with two party government.  Something that we do not have now.  Items should not be “sped through Congress”.  They should be examined, debated, modified.  When the Gov wants to limit our rights, yet again, it should be through a slow process.  When they want to steal more of our money, to pass it to the undeserving, it should again be carefully examined…

Which is why this is really peeving my off today.

PREZ ZINGS GOP FOE IN A $TIMULATING TALK

President Obama warned Republicans on Capitol Hill today that they need to quit listening to radio king Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration.

“You can’t just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done,” he told top GOP leaders, whom he had invited to the White House to discuss his nearly $1 trillion stimulus package.

One White House official confirmed the comment but said he was simply trying to make a larger point about bipartisan efforts.

Bipartisan efforts – give me a break – “Bipartisanship” seems to be defined as doing whatever the lib dems say.  The sad thing is, too many “Republicans” have forgotten Conservative ideals.  We need Conservatives in Washington, not weak-willed, spineless Democrat Lites.

Does anyone else see the “Fairness Doctrine” on the horizon?  I think that this Gov will push through this censorship doctrine.  I think that they will do whatever it takes to crush the opposition to push through their GLOBALIZED SOCIALIST AGENDA.

In an exchange with Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) about the proposal, the president shot back: “I won,” according to aides briefed on the meeting.

“I will trump you on that.”

Can’t you just hear the “nyah nyah nyah nyah boo boo” that came after “I won”?

(oops, sorry Tina, I just saw that you had already covered part of this.  I beg your pardon for using the same, but I hope you will understand if I publish “as is”)

Listening to the news yesterday, I heard something so ridiculous on the news.

    The Obamamessiah worshiping news.

It turns out, they found a “positive” to having a Treasury Secretary with previous tax problems. Instead of viewing him as a criminal, a tax cheat, or really stupid, they said the following:

“Won’t it be nice to have a Treasury Secretary who understands the difficulties some have with the tax codes”.

Obama’s nominees have character flaws, to say the least. Remember the woman that was barred during the Clinton years because she unknowly hired an illegal for a nanny? Somehow, all of our standards have dropped for the messiah. I guess he wipes away their sins….

Well that makes sense.. Obama who embraces terrorists and anti-American anything.. is (gag) our president.. so of course HE would be able to justify a treasury secretary with tax issues.

i guess we could just start doing a match game of the rest of the cabinet to a variety of criminals eh? or maybe he already did do that, just not everything has been revealed yet.. (argh!)

One Big Ass Mistake America – says it all!!! Besides he wasn’t elected he bought the election with foreign money on credit cards so records could not be verified. If Congress looked hard I am sure there is evidence that could be used properly to assist him in having a shorter term.
