Spirit of America

Spirit of America Blogger Challenge We here at the Pirate-King have joined the Spirit of America Friends of Iraq Blogger Challenge. Everyone by now should know that the people of Iraq are having just a bad time of things. The US Gov is rebuilding what they can, but they’re focused on the big picture items. Spirit of America gives 100% of the donations to projects such as irrigation support, giving out sewing machines, school supplies, libraries, and even tools for craftsmen. It is tax deductable, and with the end of the year coming up, this is a good time to help lower your tax bracket! Also, I know lots of people at my office read this blog, and I know they’re raking in the $$, so unless they want to find their accounts locked out tomorrow, donations would be advisable! Thanks to ASV!

Wow, less than 45 minutes into this (it technically doesn’t start until Dec 1st.!) and we’ve already raised $45 from several donations, putting us, well, not in the lead, but up there!
