Everything to Everyone

My feelings on the debate last night. Kerry is a better debater, and a better public speaker. Duh.
However, Kerry is still promising the impossible. He says that the mere fact of him being elected will bring France, Germany. and others into Iraq. Funny, that isn’t how they feel at all. They European leaders are on the record as saying no matter who gets elected they will not enter Iraq, but Bush being President was a handy excuse. But absolutely nothing will change.
Kerry acted like a skilled fencer last night. Come at your opponent from every conceivable angle just to win. But no real substance, but the flash will help to convince a lot of people.
Finally, one thing I wish Bush would have said. Each time he talked about Kerry getting the same intelligence briefings as he did, and came to the same conclusions, he should have followed that up with reminding everyone that Kerry has an excuse. He didn’t show up for most of the intelligence briefings apparently.

Acting, he was Acting (a flash back to the 2nd or was that the 3rd generation of SNL, not a fan of anything but the 1st generation, but still it was a memorable one, eh?)
Kerry’s debate style came across to me as ACTING, there was not depth nor sincerity, he was simply spewing out “script”… he had no solutions and it sounded more to me like a 4 year old at play “nah-uh i can do it better”
I felt Bush was the better man, because he did not make well deserved “digs” at Kerry’s (lack of) character. Although it could have helped him put Kerry on the right peg.. of course for those that need to see where Kerry really stand would do the other 4year old at play “nah-nah-nah, i can’t hear you” gee see a pattern here..
Overall Kerry had no back up to his claims of what he could do.. in fact it was more conflicting then anything else.. We will spend less, but give more money to the troops, we will end things over there, but we will not fight, we will unify all the united nations, but we don’t need them, the contrasts and conflicts went on.. it made me dizzy just listening to him.
