Gun Ban Obama

Do you know where Obama stands on guns? It ain’t pretty. If you support gun control laws.. umm more power to you (we will miss you)..

Do check out stats on areas that have “gun control” laws.. and you will be horrified.. (most) criminals can read too.. they know what areas have gun bans and which are pro guns.. guess which they prefer to commit crimes in?

Think about it.. gun-control laws.. who is going to abide by those? Do you think a criminal would? Do you think a criminal will make an effort to apply/register .. and with correct information? If a criminal wants a gun, they will get one.. no form needed, no waiting period.. and no restriction on type.. they will get a gun. How about any honest, law abiding citizen? They are going to follow every procedure so they can legally own one.. so who do the gun laws hurt?

And it is not as though Obama is just misguided in a desire to protect the innocent.. nope he just hates guns and wants to ban & eliminate them.. it is a bumbling and moronic act of his!

Get to know the REAL Obama.. and be afraid…

What is most important is.. what he says & does are polar opposites.. can you trust that? (these are a few of my “favorites” there are more on GunBaNObama.com)

FACT: Barack Obama voted for an Illinois State Senate bill to ban and confiscate “assault weapons,” but the bill was so poorly crafted, it would have also banned most semi-auto and single and double barrel shotguns commonly used by sportsmen.18

FACT: Barack Obama voted to allow reckless lawsuits designed to bankrupt the firearms industry.1

FACT: Barack Obama wants to re-impose the failed and discredited Clinton Gun Ban.15

FACT: Barack Obama voted to ban almost all rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting and sport shooting.3

FACT: Barack Obama has endorsed a 500% increase in the federal excise tax on firearms and ammunition.9

FACT: Barack Obama has endorsed a complete ban on handgun ownership.2

FACT: Barack Obama supports local gun bans in Chicago, Washington, D.C., and other cities.4

FACT: Barack Obama voted to uphold local gun bans and the criminal prosecution of people who use firearms in self-defense.5

FACT: Barack Obama supports a ban on inexpensive handguns.9

FACT: Barack Obama supports a ban on the resale of police issued firearms, even if the money is going to police departments for replacement equipment.9

Obama’s common sense gun regulations… only goes to prove the old saying that common sense isn’t so common.

Worst Gun laws..

California: Outright Ban of Guns. (semi-automatic rifles, pistols & shotguns). They ban “unsafe handguns” which includes whatever type of perfectly ordinary handgun the gun ban groups want to target.

CA & NJ even look to the future to ban guns..

CA looks to ban guns that don’t “micro-stamp” id info on fired cartridge case (look for that in 2010)

NJ a law looking to prohibit current models of handguns at some future date. And it just gets weirder from there

Hawaii required registration of “firearms of any description, whether usable or unusable, serviceable or unserviceable, modern or antique” so even if federal law does not even classify it as a gun, even if it is a decor item.. you still need to register it.

New York requires requires handguns to be registered immediately.. not tomorrow.. but NOW!

More silliness.. really silly.

Some state licensing systems are so complicated we can barely start to describe them here. New Jersey has three separate types of licenses—a “Firearms Purchaser Identification Card” for long guns, a “Permit to Purchase” for handguns and a separate “Permit to Carry” for handguns. Massachusetts’ system is even more convoluted, with a “Firearm Identification Card” as well as “class A” and “class B” licenses. Only “class A” license holders may possess “large capacity” guns without supervision, and even people who only want to carry pepper spray need a “Firearm Identification Card.” (Massachusetts is also the only state where lawmakers have actually banned the use of silhouette targets for defensive training.)

Do you realize how absurd these laws can get and do get to be?? How about this gem..

Massachusetts fourth-grader who was suspended from school for possessing a fired blank cartridge case from a Memorial Day ceremony, we got a flood of e-mail from readers outraged by the injustice—and a pro-gun blogger (www.snowflakesinhell.com) wrote to point out that everyone who handled the cartridge case and who didn’t have a Massachusetts firearm license could have been charged with a two-year state felony.

YEP a 2 year felony charge for handling a FIRED BLANK cartridge.. wow!

California, again, would surely be in the running for this category. In the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ 468-page compilation of state and local laws, California’s laws fill 68 pages of fine print. Five states combined—California, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York—fill a third of the book. And those are just the laws BATFE decided were relevant for dealers to know, so the book doesn’t include restrictions on carrying or discharge of firearms, operation of shooting ranges and other issues that are important to the average gun owner.

No pee breaks.. no lunch.. don’t get gas either.. and make sure to register your tattoos??

A New Jersey law, for example, says that when a person is transporting a handgun, “the course of travel shall include only such deviations as are reasonably necessary under the circumstances.” So if you take a side trip to get lunch with your shooting buddies after a morning at the range, you might be breaking the law in the Garden State. Other laws are downright exotic. Rhode Island’s “Application for Purchase” of a gun (whether a handgun or long gun) requires the buyer to list any tattoos. Fortunately, the law doesn’t require the dealer to inspect the tattoos personally.

It is all politics.. of course

Now, what all these ridiculous laws have in common is that they were passed by politicians. Each time, they would sell these “reasonable” laws as necessary to protect the public from crime. When the laws fail, of course, there’s only one proposed solution: more laws.

Like I said before.. gun laws do not PROTECT the innocent.. they PROTECT the criminal from an innocent law abiding person from defending themselves!!! ARGH!

If Obama is elected president, you can be sure many of the worst gun laws in the states will have a new friend in Washington. That alone is enough reason for every gun owner to vote this November

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight; nothing he cares about more than his own personal safety; is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
