Somebody’s Mommy Certainly Failed To Teach Their Children Manners

in the early morning on Saturday, the 20th of September 2008 by Katie

Manners.  Simple.  Keeps the world from diving at each other’s throat.  Sometimes.

Saying “please and thank you”.  Not interrupting when others are speaking.  Respect the feelings of others.  And, no “uninviting” of party guests.

To name just a few.

Too bad that the mommies of the “National Coalition to Stop Iran Now” failed miserably on the last category.

Because that is exactly what they did to VP candidate Sarah Palin.

It seems as though some “brilliant” boob invited both Hillary Clinton and Gov. Palin to the same party (an anti-Iran rally).  Both parties accepted.  Then, Hillary found out that Sarah was also invited.  And pulled a hissy-fit.  I guess she was too scared to appear on the same stage as the smart, attractive, outspoken Palin, so Hillary promptly changed her mind and backed out.

Now comes the breach in decorum - the Coalition promptly uninvited Gov. Palin.  Their excuse - they didn’t want any American political personalites.  Huh?  Did they forget that when they issued the original invitations?

Hey dimwits - Gov. Palin thought that your rally was important enough to change her schedule so that she was available to attend your event.  And the dems?  Well, Hillary “suddenly couldn’t make it”, and despite the fact that she had already accepted, abruptly changed her mind without any “emergency” excuse.  Barack Obama [spit] refused to come, but offered his lacky Rep. Wexler in his place.

One can only hope that these organizers remember which candidate thought that their cause was important enough to change their schedule, in order to attend their even.  But, I think that you would be hoping in vain.

The one absolutely unselfish friend that man can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts him, the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous is his dog.
