Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden says that paying higher taxes is the patriotic thing to do for wealthier Americans.
Biden says he and Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama [spit] want to “take money and put it back in the pocket of middle-class people.”
Under the Democrats’ economic plan, people earning more than $250,000 a year would pay more in taxes while those earning less — the vast majority of American taxpayers — would receive a tax cut.
Biden told ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Thursday that, in his words, “it’s time to be patriotic … time to jump in, time to be part of the deal, time to help get America out of the rut.”
Paying taxes is patriotic? What f’ng country is this dillhole from? Has he ever learned even basic American history?
I swear, Ayn Rand becomes more and more relevant every single day these guys talk.

I heard that one on the radio. Patriotism through taxes.
During WWII, we showed patriotism through bonds, coupons, rationing, drills, preparedness, Rosie the Riviter, etc. But I don’t remember “taxes” as being one of them.
And since when would I be “showing patriotism” by letting the gov steal from me, and give to the lazy?
I say that the gov “shows their patriotism” by cutting the budget to the bare bones.
What I would give for a candidate that I could really believe that their focus was to save the country, not to get money for themselves, not to secure a legacy, not to keep a lifelong job (Biden has been in the Senate since 72 and is grooming his son to take over)….

Biden would be the person at the Boston Tea Party begging the others not to dump the tea in the harbor. Think about all those lost tax dollars.
