Dumping (on) Biden

around lunchtime on Sunday, the 14th of September 2008 by Capt Jake Fortune

So now the rumors are going around that Obama wants a do-over with the VP choice.  Get rid of Biden and pick Hillary.

I’m torn about this.

I know some folks like Dean Esmay think Biden’s an OK guy.  Not me.  I think he’s a jackass and I’ve said it many times.  I’ve seen Biden when he wasn’t on the campaign trail or kissing babies.  Not a nice guy in my opinion.

But would the humiliation that Biden would get by being dumped by Obama be worth the more likely case that the Dems will pick up the election?  I’m not so sure.  Now if Biden was to do the honorable thing and not run for Senator and VP at the same time, then it would be worth it.

Biden not a nice guy – brings me back to an article I read in the paper. Biden enters his “regular” hang out – no one greets him. When asked why not – the regular patrons state that he always ignores them.

Obama dumping Biden for Clinton. Not sure it will happen. 1) Mrs. Obama hates Hillary, 2) the change would REALLY make him look wishy washy (he can’t make a decision and stand by it), and 3) it has already been “done”, McCain was the “go-getter” who chose the strong woman.

Yeah… think of it though. If Obama picked Hillary as VP you’d see the return of official food tasters in the White House to check for poison. There’s be folks to check everything for traps every day.

Obama is careless one day, and its the Borgia’s all over again!

Or, it could be Hamlet. With practically all dead by the end of the play.

dead by the end of the play.. ahh heaven (grin)..
it is a twisted decision.. does Obama flip and choose the “better” person (Hillary) or doeshe stick to his guns and keep his mistake?
Yes he would regain the votes of the women who were upset before.. but i doubt all of them.. there would be those who would be upset with hillary for agreeing to be his vp after how obama treated her. and then he might also lose the followers of his that were against hillary.. so it could be a wash in that arena..
and dumping biden would just be icing..
still the risk of obama in the white house is horrifying on many levels.. way too many levels

I pity the people who think they can rely on journalists for accuracy and clarity.
