Have you driven your Domestic Vehicle today?

I found a few sites discussing problematic vehicles and offering lemon law assistance. Now go figure the BIG 3 are having financial issues huh?

And yes.. not ALL vehicles are perfect.. it is the consistency of issues that I am referring too.. the dangerous issues, and the lack of concern of a manufacturer to correct the issues.

You can not simply go by recall records.. since sadly some irresponsible companies will fight tooth & nail against reporting recall issues. I did find these great sites that really go into the issues, and or offer assistance if you are suffering due to your vehicle.

Starting with the WORST of the WORST….

Chrysler/Dodge… the audio intro, in tone of the commercials has an amusing twist… “Chrysler, defects, deception, poor quality and poor service all come standard”.

This site has tons of horror stories and info on Chrysler issues, most not if all were EXTREMELY dangerous! They also have links to a variety of websites that have more Chrysler issues! WHEW! I always knew they garbage.. but WOW when you see the personal accounts, photos etc.. it really shows how crappy they are!

The employee parking lot has specified parking for Chrysler vehicles.. 80% of the spaces! If a non Chrysler is parked in these spaces they will be towed.. what a “wonderful” company huh?

A Chrysler employee of 9 years, says of this policy..

it is a form of harassment. (he drives a Pontiac). “I think we have other issues going on in the company besides where to park your vehicle”. ..he bought the pontiac as a 2nd vehicle, because he did not want to go into debt with 2 new Chrysler vehicles  “I tried to find a GOOD Dodge vehicle, when I was buying this one, but I could not find one at the time”

Within this site they state “There are currently more websites against Chrysler than Ford & GM combined. ”

Even the vehicles they sold to the police department caught on fire when braking! Do read the site.. the stories are sickening!

Over 10 years of defective steering, transmissions, engines, defectively designed seatbelts. Seats that collapse backwards while driving and much more. The ridiculous premature problems & defects seem to almost never end with Chrysler “DiamlerChrysler” & Dodge vehicles

Known as “most defiant” when urged to issue recalls -

  • has had complete disregard for the court orders
  • has burned video evident, written reports of crash tests & destroyed computer information to prevent liability
  • has used political influences to avoid issuing recalls
  • has put consumer safety at serious risk to save as little as 25 cents per component.

Next worst.. perhaps they would improve they would STOP making the same crap and giving it 3 or 4 different names… no matter what you name it, crap is crap! They need to make ONE car RIGHT! The best they EVER did was when they borrowed the Toyota Corolla and re-badged it the Chevy Nova..  they could not have a reliable vehicle on their lots so that one is gone.. but they tried again borrowing the Toyota Matrix, re-badged as the Pontiac Vibe.. even that they screwed up some, still it is the best “they” offer.. and it is not even a GM.. just a re-badged Toyota.. they need to really look at it and try to follow the instructions (on how to make a GOOD car!)!

GM Problems

How many times in the past two years has your GM car, truck or SUV been in the shop for repairs? Are you spending more time in a rental vehicle or a “loaner” from the dealer then you are in your own vehicle?

This is basically a legal lemon law site..which will help advice you on your options with your current GM lemon..

Does your GM, GMC, Buick, Chevrolet, Oldsmobile or Pontiac car, truck or SUV suffer from any of the following problems?

Ford Problems (which is pretty-much the best of the BIG 3.. that just is not saying much, if you are better than garbage what a standing that is, eh?)

You are not alone! Internet message boards are filled with many, many posts from Ford owners reporting problems with their vehicles. The problems experienced by Ford owners include, but are not limited to:

  • Transmission slipping or harsh or delayed engagement
  • Transmission cracking
  • Fuel injector seals leaking
  • Shimmying or shaking while driving
  • Tie Rods wearing prematurely or being replaced more than once
  • Humming, whining or other noise coming from the rear of the SUV
