I am no anarchist ….

… and neither is this woman. I know some of the regular readers of this blog will disagree with me on this, but I feel strongly about this subject.

She is no threat physically. No matter what verbally led to this exchange, it did not warrant the violent response of this larger, stronger, male, police officer (although I am not sure he earns the title police officer). It is called bullying and police brutality. I don’t agree with what she is protesting, but 100% condemn the actions of this police officer. He should be severely disciplined.

Those that know me understand that I am moderate leaning towards the right. Significantly to the right on some issues. However I support the right to protest. I support police, but not a police state, nor abuse of power by police officers. If she was violating a law she should have been arrested. If he could not do it peacefully without emotion, he should not be a police officer.
