"Silly Season" Dem-convention spills over to Colorado Spring… EWWW

mid-afternoon on Friday, the 22nd of August 2008 by Tina

Run for cover.. I was annoyed to hear that Denver was hosting the Democrats.. but then again Denver is very liberal (certainly in comparison to Colorado Springs)… But when it starts heading down the highway to us.. ugh!

It is bad enough when they seep in through your telephone line. Recap: my previous post where I told the Obama [spit] caller that we definitely do not support Obama [spit].. and she was all excited, since she obviously has the selective-Obama-hearing disorder.. she went on, and said you need to spread the word.. which I replied, I definitely am doing that.. still she did not get it.. she even called back to ask if I wanted to volunteer for the Obama [spit] campaign, which I replied, why on earth would I? which she obviously was supervised by that reply.. then eventually she finally “got it”. Though apparently not, as I received another call personally inviting ME to be part of the campaign, due to my interest.. HUH? They really don’t get it, not one iota!

On Thursday, there was a rolling anti-Bush museum in Monument Valley Park, a hot air balloon attacking Senate candidate Mark Udall in Memorial Park and an Austrian film crew shooting a documentary about a European candidate for president of the United States outside King’s Chef Diner downtown.
When people call the preelection months “silly season,” this is what they’re talking about. The Democratic National Convention begins Monday in Denver, but the circus surrounding the convention is already spilling over into Colorado Springs.

Add the stupidity of their efforts to condemn Bush.. like he is running for a 3rd term? why would they bash someone who is not even the competition? Seems a waste of time, energy & money. But non the less.. they persist. (they note 50-60people visit this bus during its 2 hour stay.. that is allot of stupid people!) this bus is traveling town to town.. hum, more waste!

Americans United For Change, the group that sponsored the biodiesel powered bus wrapped with a giant photo of President Bush and the logo “The Bush Legacy: Economy in Crisis, Endless Iraq War, Healthcare’s a Mess, Record Gas Prices.”

And… an hot air balloon was an effort to raise support for the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge… the upside of that group they oppose Gore and other Global warming extremists! Now somehow someone is letting Gore speak at invesco field.. sigh (hasn’t he been silenced yet, just for the sheer stupidity the spews out of his mouth?).. the hot air balloon wanted to fly over during the dipsticks speech but there were convention flying restrictions (of course).

More fun for the silly-circus.. a mockumentry.. check this out.. “Europe for president” (I can only hoping they are not for a European concept & Universal Health Care for the USA.. I hope this is a film of why to not do this.. but it is run on German & Austrian tv.. sooo, humm, wonder which side they are on?).

will run on German and Austrian television in November, supposes that a European campaign manager recruits an American expatriate in Paris to run for president and bring European values to the United States - including international cooperation, universal health care and federal programs to promote good taste and soccer.

Ack.. European concepts in USA.. this sounds like an interesting project!

I dread every 4 years for all the madness the elections create. It is like listening to a bunch of toddlers fighting over a toy… none know why they want it, but because another kid has it.. they want it NOW! Definitely think that is the case for Obama [spit], who has no clue what it takes to be president.. but he wants it!
