Political Differences…

Recall when someone said something to someone about possibly pondering killing Obama? That was top news, the guy was hauled in for that.

Now someone sends threatening letters to two of McCain’s locations.. and the story is basically buried. The most that is intended to do is slap the person on the wrist for sending a threat through the mail.

The issue brought up before was threatening a presidential candidate is a crime.. but they are not treating this as a threat to a presidential candidate?

How biased is this???

Threatening letters containing an unidentified white powder were sent to John McCain campaign offices Colorado and New Hampshire Thursday, officials said.

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight; nothing he cares about more than his own personal safety; is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
