FoxNews.com brings us the trifecta of stupid:
Authorities say a 16-year-old girl who died after losing control of her car had been texting on her cell phone moments before the accident.
Kayla Preuss, of Highland, was driving on the Interstate 10 Freeway in Redlands when she lost control of her car and crashed. She died of head injuries.
Authorities say Preuss had been driving drunk and was speeding. But another factor may have contributed to the crash.
Phone records show Preuss was texting just before the accident. Her cell phone, which was flipped open, was found resting on the floorboard by her feet.
Preuss’ mother Kelly said she hopes the accident will make other people think before texting and driving.
Drunk? Check (0.15%).
Speeding? Check.
Playing with her cell phone? Check.
Of course it was also at 2:40AM in her Infiniti G35, which I’m sure is past curfew for teenagers to be driving in California.
Unfortunately for her mom, I’m pretty darn sure it won’t make one bit of difference to any other idiot out there on the road. Of course all her idiot friends are saying how mature and wonderful she was. News flash: the gene pool is a slightly bit better now that’s she’s gone.

As long as these texting, talking (on cell phone), driving, speeding… stupid people die in accidents with out hurting or killing others.. i am for them thinning that herd too!

I saw the article, and first thing in my mind was “someone obviously did not watch Star Wars”.
