60 years AFTER death, body parts ID’ed.

just before lunchtime on Sunday, the 17th of August 2008 by Tina

Since the remains were found attempts to ID body parts have not been able to offer results.

New methods & inspired scientists, and allot of work.. finally were able to ID a man from his fingerprints and they are working on the DNA for an arm found.

Imagine the mess, they are working from a hand and an arm.. there were 6 men on this flight. I am surprised they could not work off of records for who was on the plane? I am surprised none of the parts had a characteristic that would be unique to at least one man. Still very impressive they have finally found a match, and that they are still working on it.. 60 years later!

“This is the oldest identification of fingerprints by post-mortem remains,”

America shall win the war. Therefore, I will work. I will save. I will sacrifice. I will endure. I will fight cheerfully and do my utmost, as if the whole issue of the struggle depended on my alone.
