This guy in Florida apparently threatened to kill Obama, oh yeah and there is a blip about him wanting to kill President Bush too… but the article is titled, and goes into depth that this guy wanted to kill Obama.
He apparently had been in trouble for threats before. So the threats should be taken seriously. The article mentioned up to 5 years for threatening a presidential or vice presidential candidate… no mention of what happens for threatening the president. WOW huh?
A man who authorities said was keeping weapons and military-style gear in his hotel room and car appeared in court Thursday on charges he threatened to assassinate Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.
