This guy in Florida apparently threatened to kill Obama [spit], oh yeah and there is a blip about him wanting to kill President Bush too… but the article is titled, and goes into depth that this guy wanted to kill Obama [spit].

He apparently had been in trouble for threats before. So the threats should be taken seriously. The article mentioned up to 5 years for threatening a presidential or vice presidential candidate… no mention of what happens for threatening the president. WOW huh?

A man who authorities said was keeping weapons and military-style gear in his hotel room and car appeared in court Thursday on charges he threatened to assassinate Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama [spit].
