How many times can we talk about Bias?

at around evening time on Wednesday, the 30th of June 2004 by Chad

Eric M. Johnson, a Marine reservist from Iraq, directly calls out a so-called “reporter” who is single handedly responsible for how bad the Iraqi coverage is.

Iraq veterans often say they are confused by American news coverage, because their experience differs so greatly from what journalists report. Soldiers and Marines point to the slow, steady progress in almost all areas of Iraqi life and wonder why they don’t get much notice ” or in many cases, any notice at all.
Part of the explanation is Rajiv Chandrasekaran, the Baghdad bureau chief for the Washington Post. He spent most of his career on the metro and technology beats, and has only four years of foreign reporting, two of which are in Iraq. The 31-year-old now runs a news operation that can literally change the world, heading a bureau that is the source for much of the news out of Iraq.

So, a 31 year old former technology reporter, who is clearly unqualified to run the major source of news for the biggest news stories in so many years, is the reason that so much news is bad.
Almost every independent report coming from Iraq is relatively good news. Information from everyone else who is actually there is reporting chemical weapons finds, annihilation of terrorist cells, and improvements among almost all facets of Iraqi life. But the major news propaganda outlets all run with stories from this schmuck.

  1. your wifie.. Says:

ahh the reason this guy has his info populating media is simply because he is feeding the crap they are looking for, and they have it “backed” by a “reporter”..

just think what the facts would do to the whiny anti-bush, anti-truth, anti-conservative, anti-facts focus they do take to their reporting and “news” they simply want to say oh yes things are horrible and it is all the fault of this invasion, which had no merit.. becuase people here (in iraq) are not blame.. the blame is on those Oil hungry Americans.. who all have some profit in mind to over take this country.. as they (those capitalist Americans) over took Germany & Japan..

(ooh don’t tell them the truth.. they don’t want to here it.. they surely are saying we run Germany & Japan.. even though we destroyed them.. despite the fact we do/did rebuild countries we bomb!)

just think of the progress Iraq will see when we are done straightening things up and cleaning up that country..

I am just imagining the cartoon that is created by those who think these things of Americans.. ok many have been done.. but just the one that has been created in my mind.. It just really annoys the heck out of me the bull that is spread about the USA, about our military, about our Government.. Nothing on earth is perfect.. and sure i may have gripes with government but heck i have issues with any authority (I am sure i slapped the doc when i was born).. but i also realize life = compromises.. and nothing on earth is easy, certainly nothing worthwhile.. and think apples to apples the USA is very impressive.. an amazing country!!

Now instead of other countries being jealous of us, and making up their own “news” why don’t they use as a model to make thier lives better?? humm there is an idea.. naw they prefer to bitch and whine and say they have better & more then we do.. and they are stealing it from the rest of us.. oh my gosh!! spare me!
