Oh, for Cryin’ Out Loud

Someone needs to grow up and put her “big girl pants on”.

What self respecting woman actually gets upset by “men at work” signs? Give me a break.

Gee, maybe it should be the men that are upset about the sign. Maybe the men could read it as a jibe at them. Maybe the evil, sexist sign makers thought that men worked so infrequently, that they needed to make a sign to point out the one spot that men were working at.

Sometimes when the word “men” is used, I think that we should be adult enough to read “people” without having to change the phrase. Mailmen. Firemen. Policemen.

    seriously sad and petty for someone to be offended by if a sign has “wo” before the “man”.. it is mankind as a group.. they need to go back to school. any woman who has an issue with such petty things has bigger problems,i highly recommend therapy and with a male doc (grin).

    Conan O’Brien(sp?) had a good take on that.

    He said the protesters wanted the signs to read: “Men and women who look like men working” !
