Incandescent bulbs are mostly made in the US. I hope this ridiculous law gets repealed before 2014.

When I was a kid, we had the “real” thermometers. The ones that had mercury. They are now banned, because they leaked mercury into the ground once they were tossed. Somehow, I would think that we would be throwing away a lot more lightbulbs filled with mercury, than the mercury thermometers.
And, I hate the screwy looking lightbulbs. I don’t like the light that they produce. I don’t want my pictures to fade. And, my state has no “dump site” for this type of lighting…
Why can’t our country give us the “right to choose” which lightbulb we prefer? Darned ACLU is always fighting for bizarre rights, how about my right to choose a bloody lightbulb?
And do we really need to give China’s economy yet another boost, while simultaneously killing yet another American made product?

oh that was good.. so Katie.. see why we love it out (south) west.. we have people like this guy.. Colorado & Texas.. awesome states, great folks.. and the sense ofhumor.. oh girl you have to live out here! escape the liberal east coast! (Smiles).
