Can It Be Called a Victory?

The Canadian Human Rights Commission has dismissed a complaint against Maclean’s magazine over a controversial article on the future of Islam, magazine officials said yesterday.

It’s a dismissal rather than a "not guilty" or the like that would put the fascists in Canadian government on notice.

Ehh, I suppose its as good a victory as our Heller decision just was, except for the four socialist judges who fought against Heller.

Scary when someone gets sued for simply voicing an opinion.

I simply find it amazing that it seems that only the US still has true freedom of speech. Even if it is restricted a little bit, the government is really tolerant of it.

Which is why all the lefties going on and on about the “Bush regime” are full of it. In less than a year Bush will walk out of the White House and go back home to Texas in a peaceful transfer of power. And they’ll never admit they were wrong.
