The Castle Ghost?
in the early morning on Wednesday, the 28th of May 2008 by Chad

This picture was taken by a 10 yr old boy in Tulloch Castle in Dingwall, Scotland, built in the 1200’s.
You can see the hand on the railing and the ghostly looking… ghost.
What’s your take? This was a digital camera btw, so double exposure is highly unlikely.

Cool. I’m always a sucker for a ghost story.
Heck, I’m even taping the new episode of Ghost Hunters tonight, just so that I can watch it some more during the week…
But, unfortunately, the photo looks too good to be true. Would be cool if I were wrong though.

I’m thinking…
Slow shutter speed due to not using flash. Maybe a 2 second exposure. During the exposure someone walked up and put their hand on the railing for just a second and walked away.
Now its hard to tell, hand holding a camera for long enough is tough, but maybe it was braced on a railing or something.
