Windows Hash Generator is a command line too used to give you the cryptographic hash for a file. A good example of when you would like to use this program is when you download an ISO image of a CD or DVD. The hash output is commonly given on the download page. After completing the download, use this program to generate the hash of the file you have. It should match if the download completed correctly.

Implements the following crypto hash algorithms:

  • md5
  • sha1
  • sha256
  • sha384
  • sha512
  • ripemd160
