Better Than Eloping

Weddings are expensive. Even without everything the “Wedding Industrial Complex” insists you need, the basics can really add up, and site fees at popular wedding venues can cost thousands. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money, a simple home or City Hall ceremony can be great – but what if you really want that amazing dream wedding location? That’s where the guerilla wedding comes in.
Me and the wife went off to the Poconos and got married there, but this sounds like a great idea. Why spend 10, 20, or up to 50 thousand bucks only to be in debt for the part of your life you need money the most?

I think this is one reason why Las Vegas is popular - especially for 2nd, 3rd, Nth marriages.

I know plenty of folk (including myself) who have had large weddings and regretted the cost. I have yet to meet somebody who had a small wedding and regretted it.
