Should the Global Carbon Tax Become a Tax Credit?

just before lunchtime on Thursday, the 28th of February 2008 by Katie

Despite the State of California’s Education Department declaring Man Made Global warming a “scientific fact”, not all people are kowtowing to the Great Global Warming God yet.

Instead of worrying about “global warming” maybe we should worry about that ice age. Historically speaking (and yes, prehistorically speaking) Earth’s average temperature has varied wildly. Even before man started his first tiny fire for his first BBQ, the Earth warmed and cooled. Earth’s ideal temperature didn’t miraculously happen in 1900, despite the allegations in Gore’s Inconvenient Farce slide show.

Temperature changes on other planets have been found to be paralleling Earth’s changes. Call me a sceptic, but I just don’t believe that Earth’s carbon output can raise Mars’ temperature. Solar activity (or lack thereof) would explain why multiple planets are experiencing similar temperature trends.

Maybe we can wake someone up in our government before they take our country into the global warming abyss. Maybe someone will wake up in Washington before we see our hard earned dollars going to some dictator’s country to plant forests. Maybe we can stop them before they economically hamstring us with the Kyoto protocol. Heck, maybe they’ll let me keep my frikkin lightbulb before I’m forced to buy those bloody corkscrewy things (there is Mercury in those things, think what that will eventually do to our water systems).

As a side note, the author of the above captioned blog is obviously an evil conservative. This is easily ascertained by his cruel use of the word Eskimo. (this is evidently a pc no-no)

We are all quite capable of believing in anything as long as it's improbable.
