We Cheat

While growing up my family tradition is that gifts from Santa come Christmas day, but gifts that the family gives to each other are given Christmas Eve after dinner. A way to spread everything out a bit more. Works great, so that the gifts the siblings give weren’t lost in the mad rush.

So with just myself and the wife at this time, we opened everything today. I have new airsoft gun and a laser equipped infrared thermometer… which is a hell of a lot more fun to play with than it sounds!

Congrats on the airsoft gun and I too understand the many uses an infrared thermometer can be put to (watch mythbusters: they use one all the time).

I picked up a Daisy Powerline 008 to complement the Kid’s BB/pellet rifle that I got him last year. Santa - masquerading as a FedEx man - should be dropping it at the house today.

The hard part will be resisting the urge to do a drive-by on a house down the street with no less than 10 inflatable lawn ornaments. I’m not a violent man by any stretch of the imagination. However filling your lawn with inflatable ornaments simply demands vigilantism.
