More phony soldiers

This one from Nam… oh wait, this one is actually the mayor of Atlantic City in New Jersey!

Under federal investigation for embellishing his Army service in Vietnam, a groggy-sounding Mayor Robert Levy called in sick at City Hall, climbed into his city-issued Dodge Durango and seemingly dropped off the face of the Earth.

Now, you read the entire story. Then you read every single other news outlet carrying the story. Not one of them mentions the political party of the mayor. Maybe that’s because… he’s a Democrat! Because if he was a Republican, it would be in the very first paragraph. But those reporters, they have to protect their own. I had to find out he was a Democrat over at Newsbusters.
