AIM and Monitor window in Internet Explorer

mid-morning on Tuesday, the 3rd of July 2007 by Chad

What the hell is AIM (version 6.1.4.12) doing opening up an IE window called Monitor that just sits on your desktop?  Looks like spyware, etc., but definitely seems to be opened up by the AOL IM client.

Say what you like about the MSN Live Messenger client, it never does crap like that.

Does anyone know what it is? I can’t figure out what it’s doing or who put it there, or how to stop it. I’m quite concerned.

Planning is what you do after everything goes wrong but before the boss finds out.
