Weird Food
just before lunchtime on Sunday, the 1st of July 2007 by Chad
Everyone eats weird foods. While it isn’t weird to you, to many other people it is. Some things you know are weird that only you do. Such as when I pour apple sauce on macaroni and cheese. You have to eat it right away, because it is the mix between the hot and cold ingredients that make this such a tasty treat.
Others are things that are sold in the grocery store but very few people get. Such as liverwurst or pimento cheese, which I grew up eating.
Finally, things that are completely normal in one format, but mix or remove ingredients and it is “strange.” I also grew up eating mayonnaise sandwiches. Yeah, just a knife full of mayo on bread. Sure, its just fine when you have lunch meat added. But by itself this is somehow icky.
What are the weird strange items you’ll stuff down your gullets?
