I’ve heard Layer 8 also be called the Marketing Layer.

I’ve often heard of the Religious layer, where decisions are made based on the person’s in charge on personal ‘Saint Silicon’ (ex. Gates, Torvalds, Norda, Jobs, Norton, etc..). I’d insert it between your 8 & 9
