Video Choice #1: Adam Ant - Goody Two Shoes

This article has been cross-posted on Jack-of-All-Trades.
Jack-of-All-Trades and the Pirate-King are pleased to bring you a new joint effort. We will be selecting choice videos from the past (and perhaps even some of today) that we consider to be worth watching. This doesn’t sound like anything new since plenty of others out there in Blogdom do the same thing. However, we are hoping that others find them as fun as we do… so it won’t matter.
For the first selection, we’d like to take you back to 1982. In that year…
- The first artificial heart was implanted in Barney Clark.
- John Belushi OD’ed in a West Hollywood hotel.
- Rich Skrenta released what is considered to have been the “first computer virus”.
- E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial was the top grossing film.
- And, if you were lucky… you got to see this video:

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I never caught this video when it came out - no cable in the home. Even babysat kids just so that I could watch MTV after bedtime in hopes of seeing Adam Ant - still never caught this video. Got to go - need to watch the video again

Ah, then I would have to nominate Steve Perry’s “Oh Sherrie” from 1984. That one sticks in my memory like this one.
